Perspectives on e-Government
Af redaktør anne marie kanstrup , tom nyvang , esben munk sørensen
Perspectives on e-Government is the first collaborative research publication from the Centre for Electronic Governance at Aalborg University. The aim of the book is to unfold some of the complexity of e-government by feeding tolls for thinking into reflection-in-action and reflection-on-action. This is done through the presentation of the three perspectives on e-government and their interrelation: Technology and Infrastructure, Politics and Organisation, and Communication and Interaction.
The empirical background of the Centre for Electronic Governance and a major part of the papers presented in the book is the Digital North Denmark-project which provided researh results and experiences both in relation to IT-development in general and within the field of e-Government but especially also in relation to participatory and multidisciplinary research within the field. The first part of this book - the first two research papers - presents this background: the Digital North Denmark Project and the participatory research approach. This is followed by eight research papers structured within the three themes. Consequently, the book is an inspiration to students, researchers and practitioners within the diverse field of electronic governance.
