En del af serien Transformational studies
Technology Assessment in Techno-Anthropological Perspective is an anthology that deals with the intriguing relationship in between humans and technologies as assemblages that innovate, develop, use and assess socio-technical processes of constant co-constitution. The anthology presents various (historical) editions of Technology Assessment (consequentialist, constructivist, participatory and holistic) with the intent of showing how Techno-Anthropology as a new interdisciplinary perspective can unravel and unveil the importance and meaning of human-technology constituencies as determinants for our choices in a world which is precariat and uncertain. In this way, Techno-Anthropological perspectives transcend hitherto known and practiced models for Technology Assessment and make way for new philosophical and socio-technical dealings with these new constituencies, i.e. us.
