Blended Learning in Higher Education

"What we have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic is that there is an increased need for blended learning particularly in higher education. The research presented here is particularly interesting since it presents the case of global south countries that suffer even more since they are disproportionately affected when it comes to the availability of resources and the competencies teachers and students need to successfully integrate e-learning approaches to classroom teaching. This book will be a great resource for policy makers and researchers alike."

Kathrin Otrel-Cass, Professor for education research and digital transformation University of Graz, Austria

"A book for everyone who needs to gain knowledge and inspiration to blended learning as a teaching and learning approach in higher education. The book comes around important issues like how to design for learning in a blended learning environment, how to deal with teacher training, competences and needs, along with student engagement, when digital learning technologies are introduced. Really worth reading."

Lillian Buus, PhD, Head of Research, Program for Learning and Digital technologies VIA University College, Aarhus, Denmark
